HDFC provides 2 types of the Deposit slip to download
- Blank deposit slip – with no prior information
- Pre-printed Deposit slip – with information related to the account including name, account number, PAN, and contact number
I would suggest you generate & download a pre-printed deposit slip as it requires lessor information to fill in and also reduce the chances of errors.
Steps to Generate and Download HDFC Bank Deposit Slip
Step 1: Log in to HDFC Bank Netbanking

Step 2: Click on “Request” to expand the option, under the “Accounts” section

Step 3: Select “Download Deposit Slip” Option

Step 4: You will see 2 options, Blank deposit slip, and Pre-printed Deposit slip

If you want a Pre-printed deposit slip, then choose the bank account number from the drop-down list in the “Select an account” option.
Step 5: Click on Accept the terms and conditions & click on the ‘Download’ option.
You will receive a PDF copy of the Deposit slip. Take a printout to use, at the HDFC Bank branch.
How to Fill HDFC Deposit Slip
You need to fill in the HDFC account details, amount of deposit & type of deposit.
Details to fill
- Date
- Account number
- Account Holder Name
- Cash details – cash denomination with number or cheque number
- Depositor Signature
- PAN number – for cash deposits of more than Rs 49,999
Fill in the details on both sides. The teller will return the left side of the deposit slip after stamping it.
If you downloaded a Pre-printed Deposit slip, then you need to fill in only the details of
- Date
- Cash details – cash denomination with number or cheque number
- Depositor Signature
